Applications for the 2022 PhysiCell workshop/hackathon are now OPEN!

This virtual course will teach concepts of agent-based biological simulations, through our open-source PhysiCell package. Sessions include integrating intracellular models, such as Boolean networks, systems of reactions (SBML), flux balance models, and pre-trained deep neural network surrogate models. The organizers also plan to introduce a new modeling language that allows “plain English” modeling with very little (or no) coding.

Morning sessions (workshops) are free and open without participant limits.

Afternoon/evening sessions (hackathon) will give close mentoring to teams developing models and tools for the open PhysiCell software ecosystem. They will accept ~30 applicants, with some DEI funding available to encourage more diverse participation and dissemination of techniques to overlooked communities.

PhysiCell works on Linux, macOS, and Windows, as well as on HPC / cluster resources for larger investigations. We encourage participation at all career stages, particularly graduate and postdoctoral. Please do share with your labs if you can.
