The International Study Group for Systems Biology (ISGSB) announced the 21st conference of the International Study Group for Systems Biology (ISGSB 2024: Molecules, Networks, and Emergence), which will be held in Stellenbosch, South Africa, from 9-13 September 2024. To advance the ongoing quest of bridging the gap between molecules of the cell, the metabolic and signaling networks they participate in, and the emergent biological phenomena that result from their interactions, this meeting invites contributions from experimental and theoretical biologists, computational modelers, and interdisciplinary systems biologists.

The ISGSB is a self-organizing collective of international researchers interested in advancing the biological sciences through exploring the interplay between theory, model, and experiment. The ISGSB is devoted to the quantitative understanding of the kinetics, thermodynamics, and control of biological processes at the molecular and cellular levels.
