Dissemination

The Center for Reproducible Biomedical Modeling is actively involved in advocating for reproducible modeling, disseminating information about reproducible modeling, and training researchers to conduct modeling reproducibly through seminars, workshops, and meetings. We believe that making our tools and educational resources FAIR is critical to guiding reproducible modeling in the greater modeling community.

Center Newsletters

In order to ensure that the tools and educational materials developed by the Center for Reproducible Biomedical Modeling are made findable and accessible, a quarterly newsletter on advances in reproducible modeling is distributed to the broader modeling community. The Center for Reproducible Biomedical Modeling disseminates information on standards, reproducibility, and workflows related to these modeling communities, including sub-cellular, biomechanical, and multiscale modeling communities.

Advocacy and training

TheĀ  Center for Reproducible Biomedical Modeling organizes and attends meetings, including the annual COMBINE meetings, Network Modeling Summer Schools, SysMod Meetings, and more, in order to promote and catalyze reproducible modeling. The goal of these meetings and workshops includes encouraging and instructing students and early-career biological modelers in the use of standards, provenance tracking, and model annotation.
